Henadz Astapovich is a resident of Brest convicted on "hooliganism" charges.
On May 13, 2021, the Brest District Court found three local residents, Henadz Astapovich, Viktar Kalinouski and Danila Kandratski, guilty of spray-painting protest slogans on several bus shelters and concession stands.
According to the indictment, on September 18, 2020, Astapovich and the-then underaged Kandratski, being in a state of alcohol intoxication, deliberately damaged a public transport shelter in the town of Vialikija Radvaničy. They spray-painted several slogans, including obscene ones. The damage from such actions amounted to 263 rubles and 68 kopecks.
Later the same night, Astapovich and Kalinouski painted slogans several bus shelters and concession stands in Brest, causing damage of 94 rubles and 1 kopeck.
Astapovich was sentenced to 2 years of home confinement.
