Katsiaryna Hamolka is a resident of Maladziečna convicted of insulting a judge.
The Minsk District Court found 23-year-old Katsiaryna Hamolka guilty under Article 391 of the Criminal Code and sentenced her to one year and six months of restrcited freedom (home confinement).
Hamolka was found guilty of publishing an obscene comment against a judge on the Telegram channel "Country for Living". The woman is a mother of two small children.
"I am very sorry and regret what I did. If I had the opportunity to meet and talk to Judge Paliashchuk, I would do it to apologize," she said in her last words in court.
