Feliks Zhylinski was an election observer in 2020. He prepared letters to the prosecutor's office regarding the election falsification. In 2020, he was detained for distributing leaflets.
Zhylinski was arrested on June 10, 2021 in Grodno. When being detained, he was severely beaten.
In September 2021, he was convicted under Part 1 of Art. 13 and Art. 364 (threat of violence), Art. 364 (violence against law enforsement officers), Art. 368 (insulting Lukashenka), and under a dubious charge of possession of pornography (Art. 343 of the Criminal Code). He was sentenced to four years of imprisonment in a penal colony.
