On October 12, 2023, Andrei was sentenced to two years and six months of imprisonment. He was found guilty of insulting Aliaksandr Lukashenka under Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code and of slandering the president (Article 367 of the Criminal Code). The trial took place at the Leninski District Court of Mahilioŭ. The case was presided over by Judge Tatsiana Kastsiuk.
