Aliaksei Mikhailau is a defendant in the case of arson. He is accused of 'failure to report a crime' under Part 2 of Article 406 of the Criminal Code of Belarus.
On the night of July 11-12, 2021, in the village of Siomkava, Minsk region, the house of Aleh Haidukevich, a pro-government parliament member, was attacked with Molotov cocktails. On July 12, the KGB started criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 289 of the Criminal Code ('Act of terrorism').
