Aliaksandra Khomchanka has special secondary education and is unemployed. She was accused of sharing an offensive post about Lukashenka on her social network page. The publication contained an image of a tombstone with Lukashenka's photo and a negative text. The woman told the court that she had reposted the publication as it seemed amusing to her. She fully admitted her guilt and repented of what she had done.

On May 2, 2023, the Chocimsk District Court (Mahilioŭ region) convicted Aliaksandra Khomchanka under Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code('Contempt of the president of Belarus'). Judge Alesia Parfianenka sentenced her to 12 months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.

Aliaksandra Khomchanka is serving her sentence.

On June 9, 2023, she was included in the 'List of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens, and stateless persons involved in extremist activities'.
