Aliaksandr Zhandorau was sentenced to imprisonment under Part 2 of Article 130 ('Incitement to hatred') of the Criminal Code. The sentence is unknown. On August 4, 2023, an appeal hearing on the case took place. The sentence entered into force.
On August 18, 2023, Zhandorau was added to the list of individuals involved in extremist activities, which includes Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens, and stateless persons.
He was pardoned and released on September 16, 2024.
