Aliaksandr Shametska is an electronics engineer. He was arrested on December 16, 2021, in a criminal case on group actions grossly violating public order (Article 342 of the Criminal Code) for taking part in protests. 

On March 28, 2022, Maskoŭski District Court of Minsk sentenced Aliaksandr Shametska to two and a half years of restricted freedom in an open-type penitentiary.
