Aliaksandr Kumirau is a resident of Drahičyn convicted of insulting a police officer.

On May 25, the Maskoŭski District Court of Brest sentenced Kumirau, a native of Drahičyn, to 18 months of home confinement for insulting a government official under Art. 369 of the Criminal Code. The man was found guilty of insulting police officer Yury Charnyshkou in a comment on the Odnoklassniki social media.
