Aliaksandr Kazlouski

Aliaksandr Kazlouski was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of Belarus ('Organization of group actions grossly disrupting public order and associated with clear disobedience to legal requirements of public officials or impeding operation of city transport').

Judge Anzhela Kastsiukevich sentenced him to 18 months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony and coercive alcoholism treatment.

The judge's reasoning was based on the fact that Kazlouski had a criminal record and had committed several crimes being drunk.

On April 4, 2023, the political prisoner was released from penal colony #15 in Mahilioŭ having served his full sentence.
