Adam Sauko was detained as part of a criminal case on ‘group actions grossly violating the public order’ (Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code) and ‘preparation to participation mass riots’ (Part 1 of Article 13 and Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code). Among other things, he was accused of receiving telescopic batons, tasers, and other means from abroad.
On July 1, 2022, the Frunzienski District Court of Minsk sentenced him to five years of imprisonment in a penal colony.
