Vital Huzau was sentenced in a closed-door trial to 2 1/2 years of imprisonment in a penal colony for ‘insulting the President’ and ‘inciting hatred’ under Article 368 and Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code.

It is known that Huzau is 36 years old. He was wanted, so in February 2021 the law enforcement officers took him from Russia to Belarus after the decision to deport him. Immediately after the deportation there was no contact with him.
