Yuliya Syrykh is a volunteer of the Country for Life Foundation.

She was detained on 9 July 2021 during "a large-scale KGB clearance operation against radicals". Yuliya was charged under Article 361-2 of the Criminal Code (financing activities of an extremist formation). Yuliya was transferred to the pre-trial detention center.

On May 6, 2022, Yuliya's measure of restraint was changed and she was released pending trial. It is reported that her actions were reclassified to a ‘softer’ article, but it is not yet known which one. The woman has left Belarus.
