Danila Chamadanau is a protester detained as part of the Brest "dancing case" opened after on September 13, 2020, protesters danced on a street in central Brest and were dispersed by a water cannon.

Danila was charged under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order). On January 22, he was remanded in pre-trial detention center No. 7 in Brest.

On May 7, 2021, Judge Ina Klyshpach of the Maskoŭski District Court of Brest sentenced Chamadanau to one year in a general-security penal colony.

On October 23, 2021, Chamadanau was released, but immediately deported to Russia. Now he cannot enter Belarus for 2 years. The 24-year-old had lived in Belarus for 22 years.
